Placing art as a value between price, is the relationship, built up from a constructed socially subjected set of attributes and status.

Value in the Macro Level, is based on the artists historical reputation and cultural significance.

Value in the Micro Level, is based on how a particular project ranks in relation to the artists broader out put and achievements.

Value is ascribed from belief and is driven by dealers, critics, curators ,acquisition buyers, this network forms a group, by their knowledge and credibility and taste, to form an artists worth.

The significance within the historical value of relevant sources and sociological for political and racial and ethical, environmental value, gives us an important narrative, which can resonate with tastes of the collector, and their demographic trends, and influences.
